The Victron MultiPlus inverter charger combines several power functions in one unit. It provides pure sine wave AC power from a 12V battery system. It also includes a powerful 120-amp battery charger and a 50-amp transfer switch.
This 3000VA unit is designed for backup, RV, marine, off-grid, and other compatible power systems. It can automatically switch between available AC power and battery power when needed.
The MultiPlus provides pure sine wave AC output for compatible appliances and electronics. When outside AC power is lost, the inverter can automatically supply power from the connected battery system.
The transfer takes place in less than 20 milliseconds under specified conditions. This fast response can help compatible computers and other electronics continue operating during a change in the power source.
A generator or shore power connection may have limited capacity. Victron PowerAssist helps the MultiPlus manage that available power.
The system can first reduce battery charging when demand becomes too high. When supported by the installation, it can also use battery power to supplement the available AC source.
